The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages has recalled thousands of cans of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, and Sprite due to potential metal contamination.

The recall, classified as Class II, indicates that the affected products could cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences,” with a remote chance of serious health effects.
