At least eight adolescents were injured in a drive-by mass shooting Wednesday afternoon at a public transit bus stop in Northeast Philadelphia, according to local police.

Philadelphia police responded to reports of a mass shooting involving a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) bus stop at the intersection of Rising Sun and Cottman Avenues at about 3 p.m. Footage obtained by RawsAlerts shows a heavy police presence around the scene, where officers had set up tape around the area.

Eight victims, all of whom are reportedly juveniles, were injured in the shooting, according to Fox 29 Philadelphia. Although no fatalities have been reported, four of the wounded were transported to Torresdale Hospital. One shooting victim is listed in critical condition, and the three others are listed in stable condition, with wounds to their lower bodies and extremities.

Fox 29 reported that SEPTA buses are frequently used by school children.

Two SEPTA buses were also targeted in the incident, one of which was struck at least a dozen times by bullets, but no one on board that bus was injured.

Police are still investigating the incident. The circumstances surrounding the shooting and the identity of the attacker or attackers are currently unknown, but police are searching for three suspects who were traveling in a dark blue Hyundai with paper tags in connection with the shooting.
