The Washington Times is reporting that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is concerned that the anti-Israel protests rocking college campuses around the country will have a deleterious impact on President Joe Biden’s re-election bid.

“The Vermont Independent compared the president’s situation to that of former President Lyndon Johnson, who opted not to run for reelection in 1968 against the backdrop of students protesting the Vietnam War,” the news outlet wrote.

As previously reported by The Dallas Express, some of the protests have proven riotous and led to the arrests of hundreds of students and anti-Israel activists.
