A fire took place at the headquarters of an anti-abortion organization over the weekend, an occurrence that authorities are calling a deliberate act of arson.

According to authorities, a fire broke out at the Madison office of Wisconsin Family Action just after 6 in the morning on May 8.

A molotov cocktail was thrown into the building, according to an incident report filed by the Madison Police Department. Even though the cocktail failed to ignite, “it also appears that a different fire was sparked in reaction,” according to the Madison Police Department.

Firefighters swiftly extinguished the flames, and there were no reported injuries.

Shon Barnes, the chief of the Madison PD, said the attack appeared to be targeted at the nonprofit because it advocates against abortion.

Photographs showed that the building had been damaged by fire and smoke, and the message “if abortions aren’t safe, then you shouldn’t be” was spray-painted on a wall.

“Our department has and continues to support people being able to speak freely and openly about their beliefs. But we feel that any acts of violence, including the destruction of property, do not aid in any cause,” Barnes added.

Officials from the federal government are collaborating with local law enforcement and fire officials to conduct an arson investigation. The total cost of the damage has yet to be determined.

Wisconsin Family Action asserted that a leftist anarchist group known as Anarchy 1312 was responsible for the incident, claiming that the group’s logo had been painted on one of the facility walls.

Julaine Appling, the head of Wisconsin Family Action, said the attack was precipitated by the recent release of a drafted opinion that showed the Supreme Court could be planning to overrule Roe v. Wade.

“This attack fails to frighten us and instead steels the resolve of law-abiding, common-sense, everyday folks to stand up and push back,” Appling said.

“Americans see through the hypocrisy of the left. The violence needs to stop and stop now. It’s not the answer to any question or any problem. Just because the liberals don’t get their way doesn’t give them license to threaten bodily harm or to burn and destroy.”

Appling added that her group would continue their work.

“We will repair our offices, remain on the job, and build an even stronger grassroots effort,” Appling said. “We will not back down. We will not stop doing what we are doing. Too much is at stake.”

Politicians from both sides of the aisle condemned the attack, including Wisconsin’s Democratic Governor Tony Evers.

“We condemn violence and hatred in all forms, including the actions at Wisconsin Family Action in Madison last night,” Evers said in a tweet. “We reject violence against any person for disagreeing with another’s view. Violence is not the way forward. Hurting others is never the answer.”

Wisconsin’s Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson said the attack would not be tolerated.

“This attack is abhorrent and should be condemned by all,” Johnson said.

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin also denounced the attack in a statement.

“Our work to protect continued access to reproductive care is rooted in love,” the group’s president, Tanya Atkinson, said. “We condemn all forms of violence and hatred within our communities.”

Why don’t you use the word Pro-Life center? Alternatively, why not use Pro-abortion?
Because that’s the choice they want to make!

Does this organization stop people from getting an abortion?
No. No one is stopping someone from getting an abortion.
They help people make an informed decision. Something the fascists do not.
All the info is coming in out.
