Several Texas high schools received threats on Tuesday, all of which were determined by police to be unfounded.

Dallas police stated that an active shooter 9-1-1 call at Lincoln High School was determined to be a “false call” after they cleared the campus and determined there was no threat.

The nature of the threat is not clear, and no more information has been released on the incident. Police have not said whether anyone is expected to face charges.

Fort Worth Independent School District said possible threats to Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School were indicated on social media.

Following an investigation by the Fort Worth Police Department, a district official stated that there was “no legit threat.”

The district stated that all students and staff were safe, and there was no further threat to the school.

“The individual was not in possession of any weapons, and an adult caretaker is assisting us with the investigation,” the district said in a separate statement, per NBC 5, adding that no further details could be shared because of the student’s age.

The district further stated, “Please know that the safety of all students is and will remain our number one priority.”

There were also reports of active shooters at Waco High School, Connally High School in Pflugerville, and Heights High School in Houston.

All of these reports were discovered to be false, and police allege the reports were all made from the same phone number.

Also on Tuesday, as previously reported in The Dallas Express, officials at Lake Worth Independent School District (LWISD) announced that a gun was reported at Lucyle Collins Middle School, but authorities discovered that the student was in possession of a BB gun instead.

“Students reinforced the see something- say something and reported this to LCMS administration,” the district posted to Facebook.

The post stated that local law enforcement and school administrators would continue to investigate the incident.
