  1. Parkway Boulevard from Denton Tap Road to Lodge Road
  2. Natchez Trace from Denton Tap Road to SH 121 Frontage Road
  3. Wrangler Drive from Freeport Parkway to South Belt Line Road
  4. Samuel Boulevard from Sandy Lake Road to Marlee Circle

Restriping roads is one way to increase road safety for motorists and pedestrians alike.

With Texas cities like Dallas (No.2) ranking high in traffic fatalities among the nation’s most populous cities between 2015 and 2019, lawmakers recently made several changes to improve the clarity of traffic laws and grant transit authorities more flexibility to reduce speeds, as The Dallas Express reported.

Coppell’s South Belt Line also saw $18.6 million in improvements lately between Southwestern Boulevard and I-635, according to Community Impact.

New concrete was poured for roadways and new traffic signals were installed in May. New sidewalks and streetlights were also added, along with some landscaping refinements.

The city was named one of the most expensive cities to live in within the Dallas metro area by the news outlet Stacker, as The Dallas Express reported. Based on Stacker’s ranking based on home values seen on Zillow, Coppell ranked No.29.
