The single-use cards are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 a.m. On October 22, the goal is to boost local commerce during the Main Street construction that has disrupted foot traffic in the historic shopping area.

Residents can claim their cards at the information desk inside Frisco City Hall, located at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center on 6101 Frisco Square Boulevard. The desk operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a limit of one card per person.

“We hope residents will use this opportunity to try a new restaurant or shop the Frisco Rail District,” said Ben Brezina, Assistant City Manager. “There are more than 130 businesses in our Rail District, which are open and ready to serve you or help you get business done.”

The cards must be used at participating Rail District businesses by January 31, 2026. No change will be given for purchases under $50, and the cards cannot be used for tobacco, vape, or smoke products.

This marks the second phase of the gift card program, with 1,500 cards available for distribution. City employees are ineligible to participate.

For questions about the program, residents can contact Director of Administrative Services Daniel Ford at [email protected] or call 972-292-5000.
