Original ChopShop plans to open a restaurant in Fort Worth near Alliance Town Center — one of several markets where the company is expanding.

According to a state filing, the anticipated delivery date of the 2,751-square-foot project is September 2. It has a projected construction cost of $700,000, and the design firm listed is Irving-based ID Studio 4. The company’s range of work in the restaurant industry includes The Ranch at Las Colinas, IDA Claire in Dallas, Ford’s Garage in Plano, Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar in Addison, and Good Union Urban BBQ in Richardson.

Original ChopShop operates nine locations in North Texas, including three in Dallas. According to its website, it has 22 restaurants in Arizona, Georgia, and Texas, with plans to open six others.

Founded in 2013, the restaurant offers meals designed for healthier lifestyles. Its menu includes protein bowls, sandwiches, hot honey chicken, steak, tofu, shrimp, teriyaki chicken, Korean beef, tuna salad, and wraps. Side options include hummus, raw vegetables, and sweet potato hash.

“[O]ur goal has been to provide a warm, welcoming place full of energetic people where you can Fuel your Well-Being. We believe that eating well leads to happiness. Thus, our team is eager to serve good-tasting, nutritious food made for Every/Body,” reads the company’s website.

The breakfast menu includes avocado toast, egg and vegetable hash, a Zen bowl, and a couple of wraps. Beverages include teas, muscle malts, lemonade, protein shakes, and coffee.

Original ChopShop will join nearly 50 restaurants at Alliance Town Center. In addition to some of the most recognizable brands, such as P.F. Chang’s, Smoothie King, Five Guys, Chipotle, and Chick-fil-A, the area is also home to such restaurants as Mi Cocina, Hanabi, Piada Italian Street Food, Shell Shack, Towne Grill, Truck Yard, Panera Bread, and Pie Five.
