The two-night closure affects a key downtown corridor, forcing drivers to navigate alternate routes during late-night hours. Construction crews will also block 6th and 7th streets at their Main Street intersections.

Eastbound traffic must turn right at 5th Street to reach Elm Street. Westbound drivers will detour left onto South County Road before connecting to Elm.

The closure begins Tuesday, July 29, at 10 p.m. and repeats Wednesday night at the same time. Main Street reopens by 6 a.m. each following morning.

Frisco city officials recommend using the Waze navigation app to find alternate routes. Drivers should exercise caution when traveling through the work zone or consider avoiding the area entirely during closure hours.
