The Lewisville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect after a vehicle allegedly struck a child and then drove away.
“Witnesses reported hearing a noise and then observing a child lying in the alley,” reads a press release from the department.
Lewisville police responded to reports of a hit and run at 6:15 p.m. on May 18, according to the release. A vehicle had struck a child in the 1200 block of College Parkway in Lewisville, and responders brought the victim to the hospital with injuries. The suspect’s vehicle is possibly a truck, seen heading west in an alley between College Parkway and Grove Drive.
