Hareli Fresh Market is expected to open its second store at a mixed-use development in North Texas, according to a state filing.

The project includes finishing out the interior of a nearly 23,000-square-foot shell at Pradera in Prosper. With an estimated construction cost of $600,000, the delivery date is scheduled for December 2025. Hareli’s only other location is in Frisco.

Hareli Fresh Market is as an upscale international grocery and supermarket incorporating, Indian, Asian, some Middle-Eastern, and Hispanic foods.

Anchored by Costco, Pradera is being developed at the northeast corner of U.S. 380 and FM 1385 — less than four miles from the PGA’s headquarters in Frisco and an 800-key Omni Hotel. The area includes 14,000 square feet of retail space at multiple pad sites, and Community Impact reported that 730 multifamily units will be built. Pradera will also include a Marriott hotel.

The Dallas Morning News reported that the Orion Real Estate Capital and Cornerstone Projects Group community will take about 20 years to complete development on the 35-acre site. The residential component comes in the form of condos and apartments.

Prosper Mayor David Bristol said the city has maxed out its limit of multifamily units with the development.

“This puts us at our cap that we have set in our comp plan, and it would be very difficult to move forward on further multifamily zoning until things happen to change the zoning that we have, and the units that are already allocated on the ground,” per the DMN.

Prosper officials also shared concerns about the restrictions, as well as how they impact development along the Dallas North Tollway, according to the DMN.
