The Grapevine Police Department is asking the public to help find a girl who went missing Monday morning.
Jeana Rodriguez, 11, was last seen at her home on Nash Street in Grapevine around 9:30 a.m. July 21. She is 4 feet 11 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes, and weighs approximately 110 pounds.
“We are asking for immediate help from the public in locating a missing child,” said Grapevine Police Media Manager Amanda McNew in an email. “While Jeana does not currently meet the threshold for an official alert, we do want to find her quickly due to her age.”
Rodriguez was last seen in white pants, gray zip-up boots, and a hoodie. She does not have a cell phone, but carries a laptop and often stops in areas with free internet.
She is “known to run away” from homes in Grapevine, Fort Worth, and Grand Prairie, according to McNew.
“Today, officers have been unable to locate her at any of her usual destinations,” she said.
Anyone with information on Rodriguez’s whereabouts should “immediately” call Grapevine police at 817-410-8127.
