In Texas food circles, the debate over “beans in chili” is rivaled only by discussions about where to find the best tacos. Forget about “Best Of” lists—there’s a new app called “Taco Setlist” that allows you and your friends to identify, review, and score tacos at restaurants, taquerias, and even food trucks. The app also features a concert calendar and a user-generated ranking list of the top taco spots in Texas.

The creators of the new social app, Brian Hakel and popular Texas country music artist Rich O’Toole, are celebrating the app’s launch with a party at El Guapos restaurant in Flower Mound this Saturday evening, April 25.

The event starts at 6 pm with free taco samples, followed by a special live set by O’Toole, with a meet-and-greet to follow. The event is free to attend.

El Guapos is a new Mexican street food concept located on the River Walk in Flower Mound. The restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere and specializes in a variety of creative taco recipes and margaritas, including a one-of-a-kind “soft serve” margarita bar.

The restaurant, which opened in early April 2026, has received positive early feedback from customers for its carne asada tacos, generous portions, and friendly service.

The ownership group responsible for El Guapos has staked a big claim on the River Walk development in Flower Mound, having recently opened Lone Star Prime, which also features live music and Vinifera Wine Lounge & Bistro.

El Guapos is located at 4110 River Walk Drive in Flower Mound, and the “Taco Setlist” app launch party is scheduled for this Saturday from 6 pm – 10 pm, featuring free taco samples, a special live set by Rich O’Toole, and a meet-and-greet.
