Despite the cold, Dallas ISD and Fort Worth ISD will remain open, urging students to dress in warm layers. Fort Worth ISD confirmed that heating systems will be fully operational, and staff will arrive early to prepare buildings.
Milder weather is expected to return by the weekend. Parents should monitor school district websites for further updates.
