Allen High School sent off 1,772 graduates Friday night at Eagle Stadium, turning one of North Texas’ best-known high school football venues into the stage for a graduation ceremony with national scale.

The Class of 2026 ceremony began at 7:30 p.m. on May 22 at Eagle Stadium, according to the official Allen High School graduation page, which listed 1,772 graduates.

Allen High School’s post captured the size of the night, showing graduates spread across the football field, packed stands, and a drone display spelling out “EAGLES” in the night sky.

State Rep. Jeff Leach (R-District 67), whose Collin County district includes part of Allen, also highlighted the ceremony on X.

“It’s official — the 2026 Allen High School seniors represent the largest graduating class of the year in America, and one of the top 5 biggest graduating classes in American history,” Leach wrote. He congratulated his son Brady and “the other 1771 of his fellow” Allen graduates.

The official graduation page listed the ceremony’s program, including remarks from Senior Class President Ashlyn Cherian, Student Body President Han Cho, Superintendent Dr. Robin Bullock, Board President Dr. Polly Montgomery, salutatorian Chunyue Zheng, and valedictorian Aristaa Bhardwaj.

Principal Carrie Jackson presented the Class of 2026 before house principals led the diploma presentation.

The scale fits Allen High School’s place in Texas education. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football listed Allen as the largest high school in Texas in December, with 6,798 students.

For Allen families, the night offered more than a large ceremony. It marked the end of high school for one of the country’s biggest senior classes and gave the community one more Eagles moment inside the stadium it knows best.
