The Dallas Mavericks have released that they will require fans attending their games this season to show proof of their vaccination or a negative test taken forty-eight hours before games.

The team posted a list of safety protocols on their website, including proof of negative COVID-19 Rapid Test from a licensed facility within 48 hours of attending the event.

The Mavericks will also require proof that the attendee’s last dose of the COVID-19 vaccine was received at least 14 days before the event by presenting a CDC-issued vaccination card. Attendees are required to bring along with them a printed or digital copy of negative test results or a physical COVID-19 vaccination card.

The Mavericks also said they will be mandating masks. Masks will be required and enforced for all event attendees aged two and above. The fans will only be allowed to remove the mask when “actively eating or drinking in [their] assigned seat,” regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.

The Mavericks also announced that starting Oct 1, fans can seamlessly upload the required documents on MavsCheckin.com.
