Since its start in Dallas in 1994, Wingstop has quickly grown to be one of America’s favorite restaurants, named one of Nation’s Restaurant News’ “Top 200 Restaurant Chains” in 2020. Now Wingstop has stepped into the future with a total digital experience that innovates service in an attempt to take the concept of ordering to-go food to the next level.

The new Wingstop prototype restaurant is open at the bustling intersection of Lovers Lane and Kaywood Drive in Dallas, just in time for the big game this Sunday. The 1,300-square-foot restaurant features an interactive storefront that includes a QR code for ordering, cashless checkout, and a front- and back-of-house designed to create efficiency as team members work to create fans’ favorite Wingstop flavors.

“We are excited to continue optimizing the size and layout of our restaurants as we drive toward our vision of becoming a Top 10 Global Restaurant Brand,” said Marisa Carona, Chief Growth Officer.

Delivery and carry-out orders account for over 61% of Wingstop’s sales, so going fully delivery and carry-out and fully digital isn’t a far cry for the restaurant.

To reduce their carbon footprint, Wingstop team members, who will continue to freshly cook the made-to-order food and help operate the Lovers Lane location, will wear uniforms made from recycled water bottles. The restaurant also focuses on sustainability with Energy Star equipment and frequent grease extraction.

If you are a Wingstop fan, you will not have to worry about the prototype restaurant compromising their product. Classic wings, boneless wings, tenders, thighs, and Thigh Bites, will continue to be freshly sauced and tossed at the new location along with fresh-cut, seasoned fries, and their fan favorite, made-in-house ranch dip.

The method of ordering is the most significant change Wingstop fans will see. You can order at Wingstop.com, through the Wingstop app, or scan the QR code to order in person. The new all-digital storefront is located at 5535 W Lovers Lane, Suite B, in Dallas, TX, 75209.
