Country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are coming to the Dallas Fort Worth area on March 6, 2022, at the AT&T Stadium. Their performance will be part of Teton Ridge’s “The American” Western Rodeo event, the largest annual rodeo competition in Arlington, Texas. They are scheduled to take the stage before the start of the Championship event.
“Welcoming a concert of this magnitude will truly elevate The American to new levels. Treating fans to a live performance by globally recognized powerhouses Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will add first-class entertainment to an already extraordinary weekend at The Crown Jewel of Rodeo,” Ellen Newberg, the Teton Ridge Sports executive vice president, shared in a press release.
Details regarding their performance have not yet been revealed, however, according to Culture Map Dallas, an event spokeswoman clarified that the performance will not be a full-length concert but “could be a couple of songs, or could be an hour of their greatest hits.”
The American competition is a two-day event that sees western athletes compete in various rodeo disciplines, including roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, bareback riding, and bull riding.
Tickets to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will not be sold separately but are part of the event. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, December 3, at 10 a.m. CDT. Ticket prices start at $20. Weekend package deals will be available.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have recently been working on the set of the upcoming Yellowstone spin-off entitled 1883. The series follows the Dutton Family and their hardships as they trek through the Great Plains for a better life in Montana.
