The Eagles are coming to Fort Worth for the first time in 42 years.

The “Hotel California” Tour will feature Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, and Vince Gill, performing the entire 1976 album, Hotel California, at Dickies Arena on November 25.

The Eagles played two nights in Dallas at the American Airlines Center last September and at AT&T Stadium in Arlington in June 2018. The last time The Eagles played Fort Worth was a two-night stint on February 7 and 8, 1980, during the band’s “The Long Run” tour.

The band didn’t tour between 1981 and 1993. The COVID-19 epidemic forced the cancellation of the remainder of the Hotel California Tour after just eleven gigs in early 2020. In 2021, the tour resumed with August through November dates in North America.

The Eagles’ Hotel California sold over 32 million copies and was topped by their greatest hits album with songs from 1971-1975. Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album is the only other album to outdo them.

The current Hotel California tour has sold out 40 shows and has kept the band on the road since 2019. The Eagles have performed for five nights in the past three years at the famed Madison Square Garden in New York City, four nights at American Airlines Arena in Dallas, and three concerts at the Forum in Los Angeles.

One member who will be missing from the Fort Worth concert is Deacon Frey, whose departure was announced on the group’s Facebook page back in April. Frey left to pursue his solo career.

To add to The Eagles experience, the band will perform “Hotel California” accompanied by a 46-piece orchestra and a 22-voice choir during their Fort Worth performance.

Tickets will be available on Friday (August 12) at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, with a small number of VIP packages available that include parking, exclusive access, and first-rate seats.
