Three Texas cities topped the list of the Most Unfaithful Cities in America, published by My Dating Adviser.

Researchers used weighted calculations to develop what the outlet calls an “Infidelity Index,” in which they ranked 200 major U.S. cities, with “1” representing the most “unfaithful” and “200” representing the most “faithful.”

Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston claimed the top three spots, respectively, for being the most unfaithful.

The researchers calculated each city’s relationship satisfaction by considering marriage, divorce, and separation rates. They calculated the “Happiness Index” of the cities based on “emotional and physical well-being, work environment, and community,” the firm’s website states.

They also considered the number of Google searches for “affair hookup websites” and the number of places in the city where people could potentially meet up for an affair, such as restaurants, coffee shops, and nightclubs, in the ranking.

Marriage, divorce, and separation rates, as well as Google searches for affair websites, held the most weight in the ranking.

Dallas had a “Google Search Interest for an Affair” rating of 32.85, which is very high compared to the most faithful city, Pasadena, CA, with a rating of 11.43. Additionally, Dallas’ marriage rate was under 50%, at 47%, and its divorce rate was 12%. Pasadena’s marriage rate was 56%, and its divorce rate was 9%.

While the top three “most unfaithful” cities were all in Texas, the top three “most faithful” were all in California, including Pasadena, Torrance, and Roseville, respectively. However, Texas did not go unrepresented in the top 10 most faithful cities. Two cities near the southern tip of Texas scored very high as far as faithfulness.

Laredo was ranked number 196, making it the fifth most faithful city, and McAllen was ranked number 192, making it the ninth most faithful city.
