Dallas is home to a wide range of delicious eateries, but one thing the city has been missing out on is Sweet Paris, the creperie and cafe that is wildly popular in other parts of Texas. That is about to change.

Sweet Paris recently signed a deal to open three decadent locations in Dallas.

“With our existing presence in Texas, Dallas will be a natural next city for expansion,” says Sweet Paris Co-founder Allison Chavez.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Allison and her husband, and fellow crepe-enthusiast, Ivan, made it their mission to travel the world and find the best crepe recipes and pairings. This passion resulted in them opening their first Sweet Paris location in Houston in 2012. Since then, they have expanded to 11 locations, not including those soon coming to Dallas, and four more planned for Miami.

While people flock to Sweet Paris for their rich, dessert-worthy crepes, like the Apple Cinnamon Creme Brule, which features torched cream, caramelized apples, dulce de leche, and cinnamon, or the Smore waffles, their savory options are just as impressive. In addition to crepes like the Alaskan, which offers smoked salmon, dill sour cream, pickled onions, and eggs, they also serve paninis, salads and have a build-your-own omelet option.

Drinks are also a special treat at Sweet Paris, where you can get everything from warm, gooey, smores hot cocoa to peach raspberry lemonade or an entire bucket of mimosas.

A large part of Sweet Paris’s appeal comes not only from their fantastic food and drinks but the charming atmosphere they strive for in each of their locations. Their bright, warm interiors and adorable outdoor seating areas invite customers to slow down, sip their drinks, and take their time.
