Frisco will hold its annual holiday–themed event ‘Christmas at the Star’ for a fifth year. Hosted by the Dallas Cowboys, the event brings families, friends, and football fans together to enjoy a festive celebration.
The annual event will feature the lighting of a 67-foot Christmas tree accompanied by special appearances by well–known NFL players and their families during the month-long event.
“Christmas at The Star has become a fast tradition with all of our fans here at The Star in Frisco that we’re so thrilled to have back again this holiday season,” Dallas Cowboys Chief Brand Officer Charlotte Jones said in a statement.
This year’s event will feature Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his wife Gene Jones, former linebacker Dixon Edwards and his family, former tight end Jason Witten and family, as well as players Joe Looney, Chad Hennings, Bradie James, and more.
“Celebrating the holidays along with the success of the Dallas Cowboys this season has given us all plenty to be thankful and proud of this year, and we’re delighted to once again put on an incredible weekly performance that all can enjoy in person with Christmas at The Star,” Jones added.
Cowboys’ Christmas at the Star will run from November 19 through December 18 on Saturdays and Sundays at Tostitos Championship Plaza.
The festivities will also include appearances and performances by the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, the rookie squad, the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm, and Blue Dancers, and the Drumline. Santa Claus will also make a special appearance.
“The Dallas Cowboys are bringing the DFW community together again by hosting a very special month-long Christmas event, and we’re proud to have a hand in making it come to life,” Eddie Burns, the CEO of Monument Realty, shared with NBC DFW.
