Pretty Woman: The Musical is making its North Texas debut at Dallas’ Music Hall at Fair Park. The musical is based on the popular movie, according to Broadway World, and is being put on by Broadway Dallas. 

Tickets are currently on sale for the production, which will play from January 24 to February 5.

The musical will move to Fort Worth following the Dallas premiere. From February 7-12, the musical will be held at the Bass Performance Hall, Broadway World reported. 

The performance in Dallas is part of the Germania Insurance Broadway Series, and the Fort Worth show is part of the Broadway at the Bass Series presented by PNC Bank.

Pretty Woman: The Musical, based on one of Hollywood’s most beloved romantic stories of all time, is now on tour,” the Broadway Dallas website shares. “Pretty Woman: The Musical springs to life with a powerhouse creative team led by two-time Tony Award®-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray, Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde).”

The score comes from Bryan Adams. Paula Wagner is the lead producer of the Broadway musical. 

The show is recommended for viewers 13 and older; it runs for just under 2-1/2 hours.

Scenery design for the show was done by David Rockwell, Broadway World reported. Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg did the lighting design, and John Shivers was in charge of the sound design. Will Van Dyke was in charge of orchestrations, arrangements, and music supervision. Hair design was done by Josh Marquette, and Gregg Barnes designed the costumes. 

The tour of the show is being produced by LPO, Paula Wagner, Hunter Arnold, Caiola Productions & Co., Ambassador Theatre Group Productions, Kilimanjaro Theatricals/Joshua Andrews, and more. 

Tickets for the Dallas performance range from $30 to $140. A cast recording, produced by Jim Vallance and Bryan Adams, can also be purchased. 

The general manager of the production is 101 Productions Ltd, according to Broadway World. The executive producers are Jeff Wilson and Wendy Orshan. 

Guests who want to take advantage of pre-performance dining can do so on Crystal Terrace at the Music Hall at Fair Park, Broadway Dallas shares. Food is served buffet-style, and reservations are recommended.
