The McKinney Performing Arts Center will host a boutique bridal show on January 14.

In addition to showcasing bridal gowns, the premier event will boast desserts and DJs as well as venues.

“Peruse the two levels of the historic courthouse in beautiful Downtown McKinney and find top wedding professionals to make your day one of a kind,” the event’s website reads.

The event will have 45 exhibitors. Attendees will have ample time to speak with each exhibitor and find the one that fits the visitor’s specific needs and style.

At noon, the theater level will host a fashion show in order for visitors to experience and explore bridal gowns, bridesmaids’ dresses, and options for wedding day hair and makeup.

“Plan on spending one to two hours with us and visiting as many wedding exhibitors as possible … It could take weeks to see the same number of vendors if you set up separate appointments for each.”

Brides are advised to bring their groom, their maid of honor or a bridesmaid, and their mother so they can help share in the planning process.

Advance tickets for the show are $5, which includes two raffle tickets. The cost at the door is $10.

There will be giveaways at the event totaling $1000 dollars.

The McKinney Bridal Show can be found at 111 N. Tennessee Street, by entering on the Tennessee St. ramp entrance on the east side of the historic courthouse in the center of the downtown square. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fashion show is from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Courtroom Theater, located on the third level of the building.
