For the second year in a row, Posty Fest has been canceled. The annual festival named after rapper Post Malone won’t be happening due to logistical issues, according to the Posty Fest website.

“Due to logistical issues impacting the production of the festival, Posty Fest is rescheduling to 2022. Refunds are available at the point of purchase. We can’t wait to make 2022 our biggest year yet. Stay safe everyone, we’ll see you soon.”

Event organizers did not give further details behind the logistical issues. Still, it is safe to assume with the uptick in Covid cases in Texas. The event was challenged with maintaining covid protocols, although the event was scheduled to take place outside. The event’s extensive musical line-up was just revealed two weeks ago, with tickets sold out.

The festival was set to take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on October 30 through October 31. Also included in the performance line-up alongside Post Malone was Lil Uzi Vert, Megan Thee Stallion, Koe Wetzel, Tyga, Flo Milli, Jack Harlowe, $uicideboy$, Polo G, Rod Wave, Tyga, Iann Dior, Turnstile, Tyla Yaweh, Clever, LoveLeo, and more.

This was to be the third year for Posty Fest since its inception in 2018. The two-day event was to feature “fun, carnival games, rides, attractions, food, monster trucks, karaoke, challenges, prizes, giveaways and more,” according to the Posty Fest website.

Last year the festival was canceled due to the pandemic. Organizers hope to work through the logistical issues with Posty Fest set to resume sometime next year in 2022. Those who purchased tickets will be able to receive a refund, per event organizers.

Some fans took the news hard, taking to social media to share their sadness and disappointment after receiving the information that the event had been canceled two years in a row.
