More than a few appealing restaurants have recently launched in the Dallas area. Fortunately for us, several grand openings have all occurred just in time to celebrate Valentine’s Day, which is less than one week away! Keep reading to check out these red-hot spots, whether you plan to romantically dine out or happily enjoy the holiday at home.
Enoteca Italia has opened its doors within Suite 116 of the Centrum Building at 3102 Oak Lawn Avenue. The family-owned restaurant is all about fresh Italian cuisine catered to families or couples indulging (or possible gorging) themselves on a date night.
Savory offerings include homemade pizza and pasta dishes, from Cacio e Pepe to Pappardelle Bolognese. Enoteca Italia will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. Reservations are encouraged to partake in the delights of this nearly 5-star-rated restaurant.
Blue Sunshine Patio Bar & Grill has now opened at 5700 Lake Ridge Parkway at Lynn Creek Marina in Grand Prairie. Offering “seafood and country comfort” fare, the slightly-more casual restaurant serves up diverse and delicious meals to sate almost any kind of Valentine’s Day appetite, including Mahi tacos, Black Angus ribeye steaks, gumbo, wings, cocktails, and more.
“The only floating eatery in town” according to its website, Blue Sunshine boasts five different dining spaces with distinctive views of Joe Pool Lake. If you’re lucky enough to be spending Valentine’s Day on a boat, they also offer front row boat parking at courtesy docks. Their hours for Monday (which Valentine’s Day falls on this year) are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
P.F. Chang’s To Go has opened at 3750 Long Prairie Road in Flower Mound. Known for its variety of Asian entrees like spicy chicken, Mongolian Beef, and lettuce wraps that offer various protein options, the chain has branched out with locations in DFW that solely serve their food to-go. This conceptualization is smaller in scale than the traditional P.F. Chang experience; however, its expediency is excellent for pedestrian pop-ins, casual carry-outs, or having dinner delivered.
Chief operating officer Art Kilmer said, “We’re excited to bring this concept to even more people in Texas and help them enjoy all of their favorites faster and easier than ever, with a continued commitment to the tastes and flavors they know and love.” Get your Valentine’s Day wok-fired fix anytime from 2 to 10 p.m. here.
Of course, decadent desserts serve as the perfect grand finale for the holiday of love.
Le Reve Gelato & Patisserie is now open in North Dallas at 12817 Preston Road, situated within Suite 133 of the Preston Valley Shopping Center. The bakery – whose name translates to “The Dream” in French – offers a variety of dreamy delectables, including Parisienne pastries, cakes, macarons, ice cream, and, of course, gelato. You have until 7 p.m. on Valentine’s Day to secure your sweet treats.
