Morning Prayer For Peace, Strength & God’s Guidance Today

Morning Prayer For Peace & Strength In God | Image by Canva

Today, may peace and praise soften my thoughts and sharpen my focus, so that God is exalted.

May I be less critical of myself and others, and more willing to see the good, speak of the good, and be the good.

I pray my ears work triple my mouth; my listening be sincere and generous, and my words be meaningful, kind, and full of life that extends well beyond my breath.

These feet, though tired and sore, may they find themselves faithfully walking upon the path You have laid before me, with purpose, patience, and joyful expectation.

These hands, though aged and arthritic, may they benefit Your glory and creation, not to bang cymbals for attention, but to gently serve whomever You place before me today.

And to the people You put before me, whether be it for a moment or a lifetime, help me meet them where they are at and see them as You do, past outward appearance, struggle, and difference.

Lord, You know my energy wanes, and my body grows weary, but my love for You is everlasting, as enthusiastic and genuine as a child.

Provide me the stamina to persevere, the calm to remain at peace no matter the circumstance, and the faith to live fully and freely in Your will.

Above all, dear Lord, remain the nearest voice to my ears, the closest view to my eyes, and the purest presence in my heart.

Grant me grace, as You have always done, for I will never be without need of it or You.

Fill the vacuums of fear with hope, smooth my jagged edges with restoration, and shine Your eternal promises upon me anew to brighten the way.

In all things, Lord, let my life be a soft and joyful light that points to You.

When days grow thunderous and grey, remind me that I am safely held, that I am Yours, and that nothing in Heaven or on earth can separate me from Your grasp and love.

I release this day into Your mighty hands and my soul to You alone.

Guide my steps, guard my heart, and grant me unwavering joy as I follow You.

In Your name I PRAISE,

Amen.
