If you’re looking for something to do this summer in Dallas that involves eating chocolate for hours on end, check out The Dallas by Chocolate Tour.
While some people might think that summer isn’t necessarily the best time to eat chocolate due to its tendency to melt in the heat, rest assured, this tour will span five indoor locales and be facilitated by an “air-conditioned motorcoach.”
“Your fun-loving tour host will take you on a sweet adventure that includes learning about the history of chocolate and how it’s made, playing Chocolate Trivia for chocolate prizes, discovering unique sights of Dallas, and enjoying great beverages (you can also BYOB) including soft drinks and water,” reads the event page on Visit Dallas’ website.
The first tour was conducted on Saturday, but don’t worry, there are still two other tours scheduled this summer on July 13 and August 3.
Each tour lasts roughly 3 1/2 hours and kicks off at 1 p.m.
The operation promises an array of chocolate offerings at various locales, including bakeries, ice cream parlors, and dessert-specializing spots. Keep in mind, though, that while chocolate is rich in antioxidants and enhances your mood, excessive consumption may lead to weight gain and other health issues associated with obesity. Savoring small amounts lets you enjoy its benefits without overindulgence, maintaining a healthy relationship with this delicious treat.
According to the Visit Dallas website, tickets for children cost $53 a piece, and adults will be charged $58 each.
Ticket buyers will be informed of the tour’s meeting place after purchase.
The Dallas by Chocolate Tour is billed under the umbrella of Dallas Bites & Sights Food Tours.
