A Fort Worth-based drone company delivered another holiday-themed drone performance this week in North Texas, claiming to have broken two Guinness World Records.

The holiday season is in full swing as Sky Elements has already put on several events for civilians to enjoy the season. The company put on a drone show at AT&T Performing Arts Center on December 2 alongside a fireworks display from Pyrotex, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.

Sky Elements held another holiday performance at Birdville’s Fine Arts/Athletics Complex in North Richland Hills on December 19. This was the sixth performance in its “12 Nights of Drone Shows,” according to a social media post. This show appears to have been one of its largest yet.

Operators took 1,500 drones to the sky to perform various maneuvers and constructed holiday images, including a massive Santa Claus surrounded by snowflakes. The organization claims that this performance set two new world records — a record for the “largest fictional character made with multi-rotors or drones” and the “largest aerial image made with multi-rotors or drones.”

The company has received previous accolades. Sky Elements set the world record for the “largest aerial sentence formed by multirotors/drones” in North Richland Hills, spelling out “Happy 4th of July 2023” using 796 drones for its Independence Day celebration, according to Guinness World Records.

Guinness World Records has not yet confirmed the new record. The Dallas Express attempted to reach out to the organization but has not received comment as of the print date.
