A new restaurant, Jellico’s, has opened in Southlake. The Southern-themed restaurant has moved into the space once occupied by Seasons 114 on the first floor of the Westin Southlake Hotel. The new location is spacious and will feature a patio for dining.

Jellico’s was named after Southlake’s initial settlement back in the 1800s. The Westin Southlake Hotel finds the name fitting.

“This name ties in with the restaurant’s location as well as the classic American dishes with deep roots in the South but with a modern flair,” a representative for the hotel shared.

Also fitting is the restaurant’s menu created by executive head chef Jenna Kinard of Fort Worth. Kinard developed the menu after being inspired by her late grandmother. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Jellico’s will offer a wide range of Southern, American, and comfort-food dishes and desserts.

“We hope our guests feel a sense of comfort and familiarity when they dine with us from the recipes we have thoughtfully created over the past year to the warm and welcoming design of the restaurant to our Southern hospitality. Jellico’s is more than just a dining experience; it’s a place to make new memories with friends and family,” Kinard shared with FWTX.

The menu will also feature fresh house-made cocktails, craft beer from local breweries, and an array of wines.

As for Southern dishes, Jellico’s menu includes shareable plates, starters, and delicious sides, all with a flare. From Chili Garlic Chicken Wings to Tuna Crudo, Roasted Chicken, Seared Halibut, Grilled Shrimp Tacos, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Shrimp and Grits, and more.

For dessert, patrons can enjoy Fall Berry Cobbler, a house-made S’mores Pop-Tart, and Coconut Panna Cotta. Jellico’s will also be serving up brunch.
