The Truth & Liberty Foundation, based in Woodland Park, Colorado, describes its mission as “educating, unifying, and mobilizing Christians to engage in public affairs in support of biblical values.”
Founded by Andrew Wommack in collaboration with leaders such as David Barton and Lance Wallnau, the foundation operates alongside the Truth & Liberty Coalition, a 501(c)(4) organization that engages in limited advocacy. The foundation itself is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
“Our goal is to educate, unify, and mobilize the body of Christ to stand for truth in the public square,” Executive Director Richard Harris has said. “We want to make sure that Christians know their rights and how to effectively influence culture for Christ.”
The organization focuses on influencing what it calls the “seven mountains of culture”: religion, family, education, government, media, business, and the arts. It provides resources including downloadable voter guides, civic engagement toolkits, and weekly live broadcasts.
Through its webcast, Truth & Liberty Live, the foundation regularly hosts interviews with Christian leaders, elected officials, authors, and activists. Topics have included school board engagement, religious freedom legislation, and faith-based approaches to cultural change.
“The American church has largely retreated from the culture,” Harris said in a recent broadcast. “We are helping people understand they can step forward — not in anger or fear — but with confidence, knowledge, and love.”
In addition to its media outreach, the organization holds live events and leadership summits, many of which take place at Charis Bible College, also founded by Wommack. The foundation reported $1.44 million in revenue in 2023, according to IRS records.
Supporters say the group is addressing a growing demand for faith-based civic education, especially among Christians who feel underrepresented in political and cultural arenas.
