A classic since 1886, the State Fair of Texas returns this year, promising a safe and exciting three weeks of fun. This event will be held at Fair Park, Dallas, Texas begins Friday, Sept. 24 until Oct. 17.

The Texas State Fair features individual sections to separate certain aspects of the Fair. There are many parades, attractions, and live music headliners to be excited about. Here are some events to add to your to-do list for both children and adults.

Midway and the Top o’ Texas Tower

The Midway is an area of the fairgrounds that everyone should visit. This section holds a large portion of the most popular and thrilling rides, as well as a separate “Kidway” for more tame attractions. A large drop tower centerpieces the landscape, the Top o’ Texas Tower, which offers gut-wrenching drops with a beautiful view. Inside Midway also sits the Ferris Wheel and other attractions and games.
