Wednesday, November 24 – Hamilton at the Music Hall at Fair Park
The beloved musical ‘Hamilton’ is coming back to Dallas this holiday season. The Tony, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prize winning play features a score that blends jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and Broadway. It is a new and refreshing take on the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and how the story of America’s beginnings came to be. Thursday, November 25 – 54th Annual Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot
The Dallas YMCA is back once again with their annual Turkey Trot. The trot will be in-person on Thanksgiving and will feature a virtual option for people to join in no matter where they live. At 8:30 am, the race will kick off at Dallas City Hall with choices of an 8-mile run, 5k run/walk, or a junior 1k trot. This Turkey Trot is one of the largest multi-event races in the country. Friday, November 26 – The Texas Ballet Theater presents The Nutcracker
This classic returns once more, just in time for the holidays. The Texas Ballet Theater is putting on its annual rendition of The Nutcracker. From November 26 to December 26, experience one of the most magical Christmas traditions of the season. Friday, November 26 – Vitruvian Holiday Lights Spectacular
A North Texas park is about to go through its annual transformation. Vitruvian Park in Addison will hold its yearly celebration where over a million lights are wrapped around more than 500 trees. It creates a blazing winter wonderland that you will not want to miss. After November 26, the lights will remain on every evening through New Years Day. Through December 31, experience the holiday wonder known as Prairie Lights.
