The day also includes a traditional Hawaiian Luau dinner of pulled pork sliders, BBQ ribs, coconut shrimp for seafood lovers, and pineapple upside cake. Tickets for the event range in prices from $29 to $74.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens have planned a magical day for families on December 31.  The Botanical Gardens will host the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden Noon Year’s Eve Celebration.

The event starts at 10 a.m. There is plenty to see between the thousands of lights decorating the garden to the Victorian-style gazebos decorated for the 12 days of Christmas and the 50-foot Christmas tree.

The gardens will also host a Noon Year’s Eve ball drop with winter STEM activities, music, entertainment, and cooking demos. Tickets begin at $17.

The Exchange Food Hall at the AT&T Discovery District will host a New Year’s Eve tasting event, where attendees can enjoy foods from 13 different chefs and their kitchens. Tickets range from $95 to $295.

There will be adult drinks, a DJ, a photo wall for festive photos, aerial performances, and a balloon drop at midnight for those looking to make a day of it. The first 500 guests will receive party favors.
