Bishop T.D. Jakes struck a two-year deal with Amazon, which will allow people to instantly stream 300 hours of his over four decades of ministry work.

Audiences worldwide will have access to the Dallas megachurch minister’s sermons, interviews, and other faith-based programs at no cost.

Starting early in 2023, viewers in the U.S., UK, and Germany can stream the free, ad-supported T.D. Jakes FAST streaming channel on the Freevee app and within Prime Video.

Bishop T.D. Jakes started his ministerial work at the age of 23 when he founded the Temple of Faith Church in West Virginia. After moving from the small town to Dallas with his family and other church members, he established The Potter’s House in 1996. Membership has grown to more than 30,000.

He is popularly known all over America for his animated preaching style and, in 2001, TIME magazine dubbed him “America’s Best Preacher.”

The Dallas megachurch has consistently been one of the most influential churches in the U.S. It’s a place of worship for many celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Maria Shriver.

The Dallas pastor has built a remarkable career in inspirational entertainment through his books, films, and music, which have also become a major revenue stream for the church.

His ministry boasts eight Christian-themed films grossing about $180 million in revenue. Jakes also produces music. He works with artists such as Tamar Braxton (sister of Toni), Sheila E., and Timbaland, with whom he recently released a genre-packed album. The album, produced by record label Dexterity Sounds, includes Christian, inspirational, and secular songs.

During an interview about the partnership, Jakes told CBN News that he is “proud to illustrate to the world how ministry and philanthropy can be done in an ever-evolving culture.” He added that the mission of his ministry to “positively affect lives by reducing limitations on how people can be ministered to remains our North Star.”

Lauren Anderson, Amazon Studio’s head of advertising-based video-on-demand original content and programming, stated that Freevee is on a mission to deliver a diverse selection of content to a broad audience.

“As we build our faith-based offerings alongside our entertainment selection, we are honored to be the exclusive video streaming home for Bishop Jakes’ decades-long ministry and proud to be a destination for viewers to find an ongoing source of spiritual inspiration,” Anderson said.
