Get ready to saddle up and head down to the newest culinary addition in Downtown Dallas, a cowboy-inspired restaurant that recently opened its doors.
Indulge in the ultimate culinary experience at the AT&T Discovery District, as the newly opened “Cowboy Chow” restaurant transports you to a bygone era of cowboy lore.
The AT&T Discovery District has teamed up with Dallas-based restauranteur Jack Gibbons, CEO of FB Society, a privately held company of innovative restaurant concepts, to launch a new restaurant that serves cuisine inspired by the traditional recipes and native ingredients of regions across the Golden Belt from Mexico to Montana, according to its website.
“It’s been exciting watching this project come to life. Together with AT&T and Legends, we’ve created a restaurant that truly embraces the cowboy spirit in downtown Dallas, offering a one-of-a-kind dining experience for everyone to enjoy,” Gibbons said in a press release.
Legends Hospitality was chosen in August to serve as the new management team at the AT&T Discovery District. As per the release, the company is responsible for managing all dining, entertainment, and event experiences in the district.
Whether you are a food enthusiast or simply seeking a unique dining experience, Cowboy Chow offers “Lunch on the Range” menu items such as Texas Cowboy Chili, Whiskey BBQ Burger, Ranch Hand Cheesesteak, and Chicken Fried Steak.
The concept’s “Dinner on the Trail” menu boasts mouth-watering selections such as Smoked Brisket Stroganoff and Rocky Mountain Trout.
Finish lunch or dinner with butterscotch pudding, chocolate mousse, or tres leches cake.
“The AT&T Discovery District has become a major piece of the heart of downtown Dallas, and Cowboy Chow will be a dining destination for locals, visitors, and AT&T employees,” the release states.
Cowboy Chow is located at 208 S. Akard St. and is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
The AT&T Discovery District boasts several notable sites, including the Media Wall, a 104-foot-tall outdoor wall adorned with over 9,000 square feet of colorful, high-definition displays, and the Globe, an impressive 30-foot-tall three-dimensional representation of AT&T’s iconic logo illuminated with 30,000 LEDs. The district is “a new downtown destination where tech, culture, and entertainment combine to create unique experiences,” according to its website.
