A North Texas resident walked out of the Choctaw Casino & Resort- Durant this weekend a millionaire.
The Choctaw Casino & Resort’s “3 Months 3 Millionaires” drawing picks three lucky winners during the summer and sends them away with $1 million checks.
The winner, Carl Stone, a resident of Trenton, was picked Sunday morning as the second summer winner.
“I feel very fortunate today, for sure. That money will go to help a lot of people, so I’m pretty happy,” said Stone, per Fox 4 KDFW.
The Casino’s director of marketing, Thomas O’Sullivan, believes it’s a once-in-a-lifetime feeling to tell someone they have won a million dollars.
North Texas residents have been lucky in this raffle as the three winners in the drawing last year were from North Texas, and now the first two winners this year are also from North Texas.
If you’re feeling lucky, and perhaps from North Texas, the final prize for the last contest will be announced on August 24.
Contestants must be present at the time of the drawing to claim the prize.
