National Pumpkin Day is Wednesday, October 26! The Dallas-Fort Worth area has many ways to celebrate, including pumpkin patches, festive coffees, and autumn-inspired cocktails.

The Dallas Socials ranked the Blase Pumpkin Patch in Rockwall as one of the best in the DFW area. Admission is $10 and it will be open on Wednesday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; however, you must make a reservation.

During the week, the Blase Pumpkin Patch admission fee covers a petting zoo, a hayride, and a small pumpkin.

The Dallas Socials also recommends the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. They have free admission, but a $10 parking charge on weekdays and $20 on weekends. The patch is open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. All activities are free and pumpkin prices start at $2.

If you carve a pumpkin on Wednesday, save the seeds and roast them for a nice treat. You can just toss them in olive oil, season them to your liking, and throw them in the oven.

If you want to celebrate National Pumpkin Day with a festive drink, you can stop on your commute for a variety of fall-inspired drinks.

CocoAndré Chocolatier and Horchateria in Dallas has a variety of fall horchatas in special fall flavors, such as pumpkin. Similarly, Roots Coffeehouse in North Richland Hills and Fort Worth has a pumpkin-spiced latte flavored with cookie butter.

If you are in the mood for an alcoholic drink rather than a coffee, The Biscuit Bar at the Boardwalk has a number of new fall cocktails, including the Tipsy Jack-O-Latte, which is essentially a frozen spiked pumpkin-spiced latte.

Hurdy Gurdy, which is right by the farmer’s market, has a signature fall whisky drink that can be enjoyed alongside their new brunch addition of pumpkin spice French toast.
