Sitting in a booth at a local coffeehouse, I notice my journal is almost full, and my cup of coffee is practically empty. Two women walk behind me on their way to their table. The younger of the two chastises her companion’s unadventurous spirit.
“Just wear the red lipstick!” she exclaims. “Life is too short not to be daring.”
I laugh to myself. I need this reminder as well. I pick up my pen and record this moment in my journal: Wear the red lipstick.
This one sentence creates more — eventually, the last page of my journal was as complete as the first.
May these 36 mini-inspirations be good reminders and brighten your day. Please share with loved ones.
