The Lunar Light: Discovery

As reported earlier this month, residents and visitors of the City can now enjoy an immersive lunar-themed virtual reality experience created by Daniella Roosa, granddaughter of Stuart Roosa, who landed on the moon with the Apollo 14 mission. What better day to check out this new exhibit than on April 8?

The event, which will take place at Samuell Farm from April 6 to April 8, is hosted by the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department in partnership with the Office of Arts and Culture and Leave No Trace. Visitors can enjoy food vendors, entertainment, science presentations, and more — plan on camping out or enjoying a day pass.
