Parkland Hospital is changing its visitation hours, as reported by FOX 4 News. The limit is a result of the increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations.

Visits to inpatient care units will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. starting Friday, Dec. 31, according to FOX 4 News. Visitors who are not on an approved visitor list will not be allowed to enter the hospital.

The change also requires only one person in single-occupancy rooms.

Those who need to be tested for COVID-19 are asked not to utilize the hospital’s emergency room and urgent care center. Instead, people are asked to use a pharmacy or a testing site.

The Parkland Hospital will also require patients to stay in their appointed buildings as of Friday. Patients will not be allowed to move around Parkland facilities.
