Medical City Healthcare is set to open the Medical City Mental Health & Wellness Center-Alliance, a $50 million facility aimed at expanding mental health services in North Fort Worth.

The 88-bed, 65,000-square-foot facility is located next to Medical City Alliance Hospital and is scheduled to begin patient care this month.

The center will initially provide services for adults, with plans to introduce adolescent programs later in the year. Designed to create a calming environment, the facility will feature ample natural light and an outdoor courtyard for exercise and recreation.
