In Dallas, authorities have arrested the most wanted person on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List.

Special agents from the Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Royneco Tiun Harris on March 23.

Authorities have been looking for the 42-year-old since October 2021, when he fled his trial for fatally shooting a man and wounding the man’s child in 2019.

While officers searched for Harris, his trial continued without his presence. Harris was found guilty and sentenced to 99 years in prison.

Authorities say Harris is affiliated with the 65 Groveside gang.

He was arrested in 2011 for a probation violation on federal charges related to weapons offenses. Harris was also previously convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon twice, in 2015 and 2018.
