The Dallas Express is pleased to welcome longtime Texas radio host and commentator Mark Davis as a new columnist.
Davis’ first column for DX, “Partisan Bitterness Could Not Dim America’s Birthday,” is now live and takes on the political divide surrounding America’s 250th birthday celebration.
In the column, Davis argues that while some Americans allowed partisan anger to overshadow the occasion, the broader national celebration showed that patriotism remains alive across the country.
“I will always remember the flags, the flyovers and the fireworks that heralded a celebration for the teeming majorities who chose to take part,” Davis wrote.
Davis is a longtime Dallas-Fort Worth media voice and talk show host for Salem Media’s 660 AM The Answer.
