Dave & Buster’s will be moving their longtime headquarters from Dallas to Coppell, Texas. On Wednesday, Cushman & Wakefield and JLL announced that they have arranged for Dave & Buster’s to move to a 67,000 square foot office space in the Coppell Commerce Center, located on belt line road.
The new headquarters will be located at 1221 South Belt Line Road, just north of I-635 in the Las Colinas submarket near the Cypress Waters development.
Robbie Baty and Maureen Kelly Cooper of Cushman & Wakefield and Cribb Altman of JLL are representing Dave & Buster’s in the lease negotiation.
“The Dave & Buster’s team is very excited to relocate to a modern office that will re-energize our corporate team and match our fun culture,” said John Mulleady, who is the Senior Vice President of Development at Dave & Buster’s. “The move is long overdue and because the new location is in move-in ready condition, we are able to expedite our move.”
For the last 30 years, the company has operated out of Dallas, in the I-35 corridor in Northwest Dallas.
Dave & Buster’s was founded in 1982 and has more than 140 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
The new location in Coppell had previously been the home of Vari LLC and comes fully furnished, according to Robbie Baty of Cushman & Wakefield.
Cushman & Wakefield was founded in New York in 1917. They are known for being the project developers of the famous Sears Tower in Chicago in 1969, as well as establishing a presence in Europe through Healey and Baker in 1990.
Recently the company has won awards such as World Top Female Friendly Companies in 2021 from Forbes, Best Employers for Women in 2021 from Forbes, and America’s Best Employers in 2019 from Forbes.
“The Dave & Buster’s team was looking for a fresh start coming out of the pandemic,” said Robbie Baty. “This leadership wanted a new location where they could consolidate from multiple floors into a single floor to enhance collaboration, and this building was the needle in the haystack.”
