Envy Gaming, based in Dallas since 2007, announced on January 13 that it will now be operating and managing Esports Stadium Arlington.
According to a news release, an agreement was made with Esports Venues, LLC, for the operations to be taken over by Envy Gaming, a company that “owns professional esports teams,” produces “content creation networks,” and operates virtual and in-person events. The gaming company takes on the biggest “turnkey esports facility in North America” and already has a big event coming live this week.
Esports Stadium Arlington opened in November 2018. The 100,000 square foot venue features a changeable layout, an RGB stage, professional audio and lights, ninety-foot LED displays, secured technology systems, a high-performance internet connection, and an expo hall for additional gatherings or activities.
It provides the ultimate space for gaming events designed specifically for spectators. This unique community-building venue hosted its first sold-out event since the pandemic in July 2021.
The stadium will start the year hosting a kickoff tournament for the global Call of Duty League. Twelve teams and thousands of fans will flock to Arlington for the three-day event, from January 21 through January 23. Click here to see the tickets available.
