A former employee at Frisco Independent School District has been arrested after police were notified of inappropriate images displayed at Newman Elementary School.

According to the Frisco Police Department, officers arrested 60-year-old Ruben Bustillos, a former employee of FISD, after the images were found in the school.

Police said they worked with Frisco ISD on an investigation that led to the arrest of the 60-year-old.

Bustillos worked as a physical education aide at Newman Elementary School and was fired on May 18, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Newman Elementary School principal Rachael Gilbert revealed that allegedly the images were found in a boys’ restroom, and several children saw them.

Gilbert added that school administrators contacted the parents of the affected children.

Frisco police revealed that Bustillos is facing charges of Sale, Distribution, or Display of Harmful Material to a Minor, a Class A misdemeanor. It is not clear if the 60-year-old has an attorney.

Authorities did not provide a detailed description of what the images portrayed.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this offense to contact the department at 972-292-6010. They can also send an anonymous tip by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411.
