Oklahoma’s Superintendent of Public Education, Ryan Walters, has issued a new directive mandating that all public schools in the state teach the Bible and the Ten Commandments starting in the fall semester.
Walters has warned that educators who refuse to comply with a new directive to teach students about the Bible’s influence on American history and founding figures could face the loss of their teaching licenses.
