A junior high teacher from Parker County has resigned following her arrest over allegations that she had an inappropriate relationship with a student.

The teacher, identified as Channing Elizabeth Kula, 36, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, has been charged with an improper relationship between educator and student. According to prison records, Kula was arrested on October 5 and released on a $50,000 bond. The offense date is listed as July 15, 2023.
