The Garland Independent School District commenced online registration for all students who wish to ride the school bus for the 2022-23 school year on March 1.
The district announced on its Facebook page that the online registration would only take about five minutes to complete.
According to The Dallas Morning News, families can choose which school their children attend, but transportation to their school of choice is not guaranteed in the district.
The district decides bus transportation based on several factors, including the students’ proximity to their neighborhood school campuses, the designated transportation eligibility area for each school campus, and Magnet program acceptance.
